Inspired by the fabulous gown worn by Britain's Duchess of York on her 1986 Wedding day. Sarah Ferguson's dress was hailed by fashion experts as "the perfect wedding dress".

The gown is magnificently designed with a gentle drop-waist that dips deeply at the back into a huge Victorian bustle. Styled for Sarah's love of bows, the bustle is formed in the shape of a spectacular bow with small bows repeated to accent each shoulder.

The sleeves are deeply gathered at the shoulder, tapering to narrow cuffs. U-shaped at the neckline, the beautiful bodice is encrusted with easy applique' real lace, sequins and pearls for a realistic effect. deeply gathered, the elegant skirt falls wide at the hem a full 2" below the 11 1/2" fashion doll's feet for added display beauty.

A regal 24" long train cascades gracefully from the hips. Lined in shimmering white satin, the train is edged in matching real lace, sequins and pearls. A small beaded applique' adorns the end. Bordered with scallops of Sarah's beloved bumble bees and thistles, the original train and a large "A" for Andrews, appliqued on the hem.

Crocheted entirely in bedspread weight cotton, this realistic replica costume looks like a real bride on her happiest day.
