Pattern uses written instruction, charts and diagrams for stitching and embroidery.

Pattern uses discontinued yarns, you may substitute worsted weight (4). Pattern uses outdated terminology. Afghan is constructed by making panels, some of which are tunisian/afghan stitch. Other panels are made by single crochet with a special stitch included in the instructions. Details on lighter colored panels are embroidered. This pattern will be challenging for most.
