Pattern uses a mixture of written and graph directions. Bedspread is made in panels (in theory you could adjust the size of the bedspread in this manner), and sewn together. Border is made in one large piece, separately from the panels, and sewn onto the main panels. Finally an edging is applied around the entire piece to finish it.
