MATERIALS: Patons Canadiana (Susan Bates) Worsted Weight (4) (100 gm, 247 yds each ball): 12 balls #1 White (MC). Susan Bates Anchor Fashion Tone #8 (30 gm, 300 yds each ball): 1 ball each #4094 Carmine (A), #4085 Emerald (B). #4099 C. Yellow (C). Susan Bates crochet hook size J -10 US (6.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. Susan Bates Steelite crochet hook size 7 (1.50mm).

MEASUREMENTS: Approx 54 inches (135 cm) in diameter.

GAUGE: With larger hook and MC, 12 sts = 4"inches (10 cm). 12 rows in pattern = 5" inches (12.5 cm).

STITCHES USED: Chain stitch (ch). Slip stitch (sl st). Single crochet (sc). Double crochet (dc). Treble crochet (tr).

SPECIAL STITCH: Puff st: (5 dc half closed and joined tog) in same st.
