Knit this delightful ensemble in Red,White and Blue, for the little newborn girl or boy. Make it in other shades; it is a very appreciated and quickly made gift. Outfits are made in tri-color for baby boy and baby girl. The directions consists of a top, pants, dress, booties and socks. The top is fastened Chinese style Both in front and in back with a bi-color cord. Top and pants are is worked up in stockinette and reverse stockinette. The matching bootees are done in garter stitch and stockinette. The dress, fastened over the shoulders, is done in stockinette, with a ribbed yoke enhanced by wide bi-color reverse stockinette stripes. The matching socks are all knitted in ribbing.

Pattern uses written directions with diagrams for assembly.
